Valley Publicity Summit, Sept. 16, 2017

SAVE THE DATE: The 14th annual Valley Publicity Summit. presented by SPJ, returns to Barrett, the Honors College, at Arizona State University in Tempe on “the best Saturday morning in PR-media relations,” Sept. 16, 2017.
We’ll gather again in Honors Hall, starting out in the refectory (pictured above, affectionately referred to by Barrett students as “the Harry Potter Room.” And we’ll meet in larger rooms that in 2016 for the all-important speed-pitching session where media people share their pitching preferences with PR pros.

The Summit is an amazing event where a roomful of locally based journalists share insights, give their story pitch preferences and industry updates with area public relations practitioners.

SAME GREAT LOCATION: We’re excited to once again be at Barrett, the Honors College, at the southwest corner of Rural Road and Lemon Street on the Tempe campus of Arizona State University. Our gathering will be in Honors Hall.

PARKING: Parking is free on that Saturday in the Rural Road Parking Structure at the northwest corner of Rural Road and Lemon Street. Then walk south to the Barrett campus, where we will be gathering in Honors Hall. Here is a map showing your path to get from the parking structure to Honors Hall:

The Valley of the Sun chapter of SPJ sincerely thanks Barrett, the Honors College, Arizona State University, Mark Jacobs, university vice provost and dean, for hosting the 2017 Valley Publicity Summit.
