“A Thirst for News”

was the theme of the Society for Professional Journalists Western Regional Conference, April 29-30 at the Heard Museum, 2301 N. Central, Phoenix. We’re SPJ’s Region 11, composed of Arizona, California, Nevada and Hawaii. The hashtag: #spjwest.

The Valley of the Sun chapter wants to express its sincerest thanks and appreciation to all who attended, presented and served at the 2016 SPJ Western Regional Conference, held April 29-30 at the Heard Museum in Phoenix. We’re eager to hear about plans from our fellow members in the San Diego chapter, who will be our hosts at the 2017 SPJ estern Regional Conference next spring!
