We strive to provide quality programming and social/networking events that connect our members to other journalists with resources in the Phoenix area. We regularly sponsor professional development events that focus on newsgathering, media ethics training and open government access under the Freedom of Information Act, the Arizona Public Records Law and other federal and state statutes. We also promote in this space informative and educational events sponsored by fellow journalism organizations. Here also we provide information about SPJ activities and pass on relevant news about the journalism profession.
