SPJ Phoenix members are invited to attend the 2026 Annual Meeting of the American Association for the Advancement of Science, Feb. 12-14 at the Phoenix Convention Center downtown. Registration is free for editors, reporters, freelance writers and public information officers, AAAS said.
“Amid a year of sustained challenges for the scientific community, AAAS is convening leaders from across our industry to share discoveries and confront the most urgent questions shaping this moment. The meeting will feature plenary and discussion panels, topical lectures, workshops, networking events and more,” AAAS said in a statement.

Newsroom registration will say “pending approval” and it might take a few days for a staff member to process your registration.
