SPJ: Phoenix, Arizona Chapter

Our friends at PEN America and the Arizona Authors Association invite us to attend a mixer to kick off the new year, 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 4, at Moon Valley Grill and Patio, 15414 N. 7th St., Suites 1 and 2 (at Coral Gables Drive), Phoenix.

A covered patio will ensure the gathering occurs, rain or shine. Meet and mingle, and if you’re feeling shy, take part in a separate area with conversation prompts. Attendees receive one free drink each and a free spread of appetizers.
