Definitely, it was big! And it was fun! Tasty bistro food, great craft beers and the best camaraderie among local journalists and communicators was all on hand at the Valley Media Holiday Mixer Dec. 9 at Arizona Wilderness Brewing’s Miracle Mile.

Special thanks to all who attended the 2025 edition, who traveled to central Phoenix from as far away as south Chandler and Prescott. We gave away some cool door prizes, such as a couple of “Free Press, Free People, Full Stop” coffee mugs. And local journalist-turned-author Christina Estes arrived with one copy each of her two books, Off the Air and The Story that Wouldn’t Die, to autograph and give away.
