Valley journalists and communicators: Bring a recent byline and tell the story of how you got the story, and Valley of the Sun SPJ will buy you a beer (or non-alcoholic beverage. It’s called “Beer for Bylines” at our annual Summer Solstice Soiree, 5 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 21, at State 48 Brewery at 345 W. Van Buren St., in downtown Phoenix. Enjoy a cold beverage with colleagues and competitors on the year’s longest day. Members: We will briefly hold voice-vote elections for our 2023-2024 chapter officers at this event.
