Journalists and the public are invited to a vigil in honor of the victims of Thursday’s shooting at The Capital Gazette in Annapolis, Maryland. The vigil will be at 8 p.m. Saturday, June 30, at the journalists’ memorial at Steele Indian School Park, 300 E. Indian School Road, Phoenix. Tim Eigo, president of the Valley of the Sun chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists, will give brief remarks. The chapter is organizing the vigil.
