The Phoenix Business Journal has launched the Phoenix Business Blog, an outlet where reporters and other newsroom staff can follow breaking stories, give their take on the news and provide readers with more information and analysis of the Phoenix business community.
Entries will be posted daily, and a video component is in the planning stages. The blog can be found in the center of the Phoenix Business Journal’s homepage at phoenix.bizjournals.com.
Business Journal Editor Ilana Lowery said the Phoenix Business Blog will allow our reporters and newsroom staff to let readers know what is happening now.
“We also will have the ability to let you know what’s happening next,” Lowery said. “It’s a new way of covering news. We want to provide smart and lively content that readers feel compelled to interact with and revisit often.”
Multimedia reporter Adam Kress will manage and contribute to the Phoenix Business Blog. Kress said the blog was a logical extension of the local business newspaper and its website.
“We created the blog to provide another way to get information to our readers, and our goal is to create the best business blog in Arizona,” Kress said. “We have an incredibly experienced staff, and they have a lot to say.”
